| AIIMS Bhatinda is a medical college and medical research public university based in Bathinda, Punjab, India. All India Institute of Medical Sciences AIIMS Bathinda is one of the apex healthcare institutes being established by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojna PMSSY. As one of the All India Institutes of Medical Sciences, it operates autonomously under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. AIIMS PanjabAIIMS Bathinda spreads over a large area of about 177 Acres and is surrounded by lush green parks. It became operational in 2019, one of the six AIIMS to do so in 2019. AIIMS, Bathinda imparts both undergraduate and postgraduate medical education in all branches of medical science and related fields, along with nursing training to bring together in one place educational facilities of the highest order for the training of personnel in all branches of health care activities. |
