About The University:

IIT Dharwad is an Institute of National Importance under the MoE, GoI started in July 2016. The foundation stone for the permanent campus was laid by Hon’ble Prime Minister on 10th Feb 2019. The institute is located in Dharwad, Karnataka, on 470 acres of land allotted by the GoK. The institute presently offers seven 4-year B.Tech. programs, an inter-disciplinary 5-year BS-MS program, M.Tech. programs and Ph.D. programs.

State-of-art facilities include: Sophisticated Central Instrumental Facility, Space Data
Science Lab, anant GaNak (HPC), Global Center of Excellence in Affordable and Clean Energy, etc.
